About This Piece

This bronze head “Beethoven” has a presence that seems greater than its physical size would suggest. The second of the bronze heads made in the early 2000s this piece demonstrates Jansch’s increasing command of the process of translating driftwood in to bronze. The location of the driftwood original is not known, however this piece is available in a bronze edition of 25.

Beethoven is also available as a complete horse in bronze.
