Jupiter by Heather Jansch

One of Jansch’s smaller heads, Jupiter was intended for bronze from the outset and is one of only a very few for which both the original (pictured) and the bronze moulds still exist.

Similar in scale to his cousin Sentinel, he is available in an eidtion of twelve, number 2 being the next cast due to come from the moulds.

If you would like any information about the bronze comissioning process, please contact us with any questions you might have.

Other examples of her work include her enduringly popular life-size foals such as Dylan. Her smaller work for interiors included sculptures like Jeunesse from her Tang series and the magnificent Etalon, regarded by many as her very finest work. In a departure from her usual practice, Heather also produced a series of dancers and warrior women.

We are following an active programme of casting from Heather’s moulds to finish the editions she began and so Heather’s work continues to be exhibited on a regular basis, and can be seen at The Diehl Gallery in Jackson, WY, and Sculpture by the Lakes in Dorset, UK. As a result, many of her sculptures remain available for purchase.

Our exhibitions page has details of upcoming shows, but if you are considering a purchase and would like to arrange a viewing or additional photographs you are welcome to get in touch.
