Copper Colt by Heather Jansch
One of the earliest sculptures found in Heather’s studio, Copper Colt, although undated, is believed to pre-date the Ashburton Life Group period. Potentially made in the late 1980s it is one of the rare sculptural pieces made during the transition from painting to sculpture as her specialism, but before the adoption of driftwood as the principle medium.
This peice remains in the family collection and is not for sale.

Other sculpture by Heather Jansch
Other examples of her work include her enduringly popular life-size foals such as Dylan. Her smaller work for interiors included sculptures like Jeunesse from her Tang series and the magnificent Etalon, regarded by so many as her very finest work. In a departure from her usual practice, Heather also produced a series of dancers and warrior women.
We are following an active programme of casting from Heather’s moulds to finish the editions she began and so Heather’s work continues to be exhibited on a regular basis, and can be seen at The Diehl Gallery in Jackson, WY, and Sculpture by the Lakes in Dorset, UK. As a result, many of her sculptures remain available for purchase.
