Sweet September is a rare piece. In a departure from Jansch’s usual visual language, this piece focuses on the fluidity of movement in two dimensions, with distinct “sides” to the sculpture. Sweet September is going somewhere; and much like the stance of the subject, this fact springs upon the viewer unexpectedly.

Sweet September is available in an edition of five in Bronze, the driftwood original having long since vanished.
