Sweet September by Heather Jansch
This is a rare piece because in a departure from Jansch’s usual visual language, Sweet September focuses on fluidity of movement in two dimensions, as a result having distinct “sides” to the sculpture. Sweet September is going somewhere; and much like the stance of the subject, this fact springs upon the viewer unexpectedly.
Sweet September is available in an edition of five in Bronze, the driftwood original having long since vanished.

Other sculpture by Heather Jansch
This piece forms part of Heather Jansch’s series of life-size horses, but other examples of her work include her enduringly popular life-size foals, such as Dylan. Heather also made smaller work for interiors, an example being Jeunesse from her Tang series, and the magnificent Etalon, regarded by many as her very finest work. In a departure from her usual practice, Heather also produced a series of dancers and warrior women.
We are following an active programme of casting from Heather’s moulds to finish the editions she began and so Heather’s work continues to be exhibited on a regular basis, and can be seen at The Diehl Gallery in Jackson, WY, and Sculpture by the Lakes in Dorset, UK. As a result, many of her sculptures remain available for purchase.
