log wall and coffee root archway Artists sculpture garden open for charity

Home of the internationally famous original driftwood horses this beautifully maintained unique southwest devon sculpture garden opens for charity in the Spring and Autumn every year.

16 years ago the need to provide a backdrop for life size driftwood horses was the origin of the sculpture garden .  It fast became a contemporary work of art in itself as site specific sculptures formed part of the structure giving a new lease of life to fallen trees and discarded buidling materials..

The story of It's evolution from an impenetrable bramble filled wilderness to one of Devon's most popular private NGS sculpture gardens forms part of Heather Jansch's Diary. It is a favoured place for television crews to film and our visitors return time and again bringing their growing families and friends to picnic by the stream.
